It’s Leap Year, which means this year we get a whole extra day to enjoy. And this year, Leap Day 2020 is on a Saturday, and The Mendel Center’s Winter Delights Festival is returning for the 10th year, bigger and better than ever. What better way to say “farewell” to February than an all-indoors celebration of beer, wine, food, and music?

Sip and sample an extensive lineup of beverage tastings, including wine, beer, and cider, in the Taste Faire inside the newly-renovated Grand Upton Hall. Take in an amazing four-act music lineup. Browse the all-new pop-up makers market and take home unique, high-quality items crafted by regional artisans. And relax! For just $20, you can purchase an additional Designated Driver pass which means you can enjoy the Taste Faire responsibly and safely.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Winter Delights Festival:

The festival is happening inside The Mendel Center in two locations: the Taste Faire will be held in the newly-renovated Grand Upton Hall from 1 pm – 8 pm, featuring up to 30 Michigan craft beer, wine, and cider makers, culinary treats from local dining establishments, plus live music with local artists and headliner Bryan Lubeck, while the Mainstage will boast a lineup of three nationally- and internationally-touring acts beginning at 4 pm. Throughout the event, the Mendel Center corridors will come alive with a pop-up makers market featuring quality handcrafted wares from Michigan artisans.
