DESCRIPTION:Indianapolis-based trio Flatland Harmony Experiment brings a uniquely intense\, high-octane sound to The Livery stage for a pay-what-you-want show this Friday\, November 1. With a vocally-driven\, three-piece string band including mandolin\, banjo\, and upright bass\, the Flatland Harmony Experiment crafts artful songs that run the gamut from bluegrass to progressive gypsy with stops between. DESCRIPTION:Don’t forget: behind every Halloween ghost\, ghoul\, and zombie is a regular ol’ dead person. Indulge your sweet tooth and imagination for one more day as you celebrate the lives of loved ones who’ve stepped over to the other side at this community cultural event\, Celebrando el Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)\, co-hosted by the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra and The Heritage Museum & Cultural Center. More whimsical than spooky\, this event is totally family-friendly and offers a wide range of entertainment options including authentic Mexican cuisine\, specialty beverages\, live mariachi band music\, dancing\, fresh pressed cider\, a raffle and more. \nAttendees are asked to bring photos of loved ones who have passed on to display at the ‘cemetery’ and reflect on the memories that made them special. Kids will love the crafts\, face painting\, and a screening of Coco.  \nRemember\, one day we’ll all be dead. Wouldn’t you want your loved ones to celebrate you at a party like this?  \nTickets are $25 for adults ($30 at the door)\, $5 for children 5-12. Cash bar.
