A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen.\n \nANNUAL CHILI PEPPER AWARD\nA judged portion of this event will give participating locations a chance to showcase their chili in front of a panel of judges from the Southwest Michigan culinary scene. Steep hills and sharp curves are prevalent terrain on this advanced path. \n-Ski cost is $8.00 per set per hour (includes skis\, boot\, & poles) for adults. For groups of 8 or more\, all ski sets are $5.00/hour per person\, for any age.\n-A driver’s license is required as a deposit.\n-There must be a 6” snow base on the trails for the rental to be open.\n-The ski rental will stop renting equipment at 4:15 p.m. All skiers must be off trail ½ hour before sunset. We’ll meet at the end of 34th Ave. (North entance to the preserve.) \nGenerally\, an easy hike with only a couple of small hills. Trail is non-paved so please wear proper foot gear (One spot is very muddy). We will hike about 6 miles. \n**Dogs are not allowed.** \nDirections: Take I-196 to Exit 13.
