SUMMARY:Twin Cities Turkey Trot
DESCRIPTION:Proceeds for this year’s Twin Cities Turkey Trot will benefit the Benton Harbor Police Athletic League. This organization instills fellowship and camaraderie between kids ages 12-18 and local law enforcement. They participate in sports and social activities together\, teaching leadership and strength in the community.\nEarly packet pick-up for the race (Wednesday 5pm – 630pm) and Same Day pick-up (Thursday 7:30am – 8:45am) will be at the Benton Harbor Public Library. The start/finish line is located one block from the library entrance\, and every participant that places in his/her category will receive a medal.

DESCRIPTION:The Lake Michigan College Visual & Performing Arts Department presents the Ike Holter play Exit Strategy at The GhostLight Theatre on Nov. 15\, 16\, 22\, 23 at 7:30pm\, and on Nov. 17 and 24 at 3pm. \nThis play centers on the teachers of Tumbldn High School\, who don’t live in a picture-perfect\, inspirational environment. They bring mousetraps from home\, they make the toilet paper last\, and they show up for the kids when nobody else will. When the school is slated for closure at the end of the year\, and the weight of the inevitable bears down on the community\, the students and teachers discover their breaking points.\nSpiked with humor and brimming with fury\, Exit Strategy is an exhilarating call to arms about what we owe each other. \nTickets are free for LMC faculty\, staff\, and students.
