Kayak Down the Galien River

The Galien River flows to Lake Michigan. It’s about 2.5 miles down the river. With scenic views the river wineds through New Buffalo into Lake Michigan.
We have 2 options, we can meet in the boat launch area on Red Arrow Highway or we can meet at the beach and paddle towards the boat lauch on Red Arrow. If you need to rent a kayak, you can rent one from Third Coast near the beach parking lot. Kayak rentals are $25 per hour.
