Annual New Years Day Hike (2nd one, ha) Mad Bert & St Pats

**Our Beloved ANNUAL New Years Day Hike (2nd one, hahahah)**
*🥳🎉👣🥾Join us to start your New Year 2025 on the right foot — or left.*

1. We will begin by parking in St Patrick’s Park (map below) and heading into Mad Berts for a nice 45-minute jaunt along the wintery pathways. There are plenty of pretty river and old forest views, and possibly a bird of prey or two.
2. After Mad Bert, we will head back to the parking area for a Water/ Loo/Toilet break and circle up for a little chat/New Year 2025 brief meditation/1 resolution statement.
3. Those still “full of beans” will head out for another 45-minute loop around St Pats Park.
4. **Possible** Asian warm soup or tea afterward.
5. **REMINDER** to please UN-rsvp if you are unable to make it, it is terribly cold outside to be waiting for folks to appear

**WEATHER NOTE**: All January and February events will have the weather caveat. Negative wind chills and winds over 10mph could create a rescheduling or canceling situation, with some discussion amongst the group beforehand. Always check the comments before heading out the door!! Proper attire is a MUST!! Parks are likely to have multiple terrain/gooshy conditions.
