The Lake Michigan College Visual & Performing Arts Department presents the Ike Holter play Exit Strategy at The GhostLight Theatre on Nov. 15, 16, 22, 23 at 7:30pm, and on Nov. 17 and 24 at 3pm.
This play centers on the teachers of Tumbldn High School, who don’t live in a picture-perfect, inspirational environment. They bring mousetraps from home, they make the toilet paper last, and they show up for the kids when nobody else will. When the school is slated for closure at the end of the year, and the weight of the inevitable bears down on the community, the students and teachers discover their breaking points.
Spiked with humor and brimming with fury, Exit Strategy is an exhilarating call to arms about what we owe each other.
Tickets are free for LMC faculty, staff, and students. Seniors age 65+ are $12
