Sun Morning Hike- Lydick Bog

This is 10am ET, 9am CT

Quick morning hike to a new location on the trails in Lydick Bog. The bog is part of the Shirley Heinze Trust. This isn’t a very long hike but it’s Sunday morning so we will keep it simple.

We will meet in the parking lot.

The hike only takes an hour, we can make plans to go to the chocolate cafe and dinosaur museum after. There is also a small hiking trail there.
The Continental Divide Trail is 0.5 miles and has a lookout where you can see the Golden Dome on the Notre Dame Campus. Here is a link

If you would just like to meet us at the Chocolate Cafe, we should be there at or around 11am.

I only have until 11:30 on Sunday’s but I’m sure there will be someone to join you in a dinosaur tour if you would like to take the tour. The tickets are $25 for the tour.
The cafe is open to everyone.
You can also take a tour of the chocolate cafe and see how the magic is made.

I updated the address but meetup sometimes directs you to the wrong location, so put it in your own gps to be sure. Traveling east on US 20, the bog is located just after the curve, on the south side, a bit past Quince Rd. There is a large sign. 😊
